用途:丙二醇是不飽和聚酯、環(huán)氧樹脂、聚氨酯樹脂的的重要原料，這方面的用量約占丙二醇總消費(fèi)量的45%左右，這種不飽和聚酯大量用于表面涂料和增強(qiáng)塑料。丙二醇的粘性和吸濕性好，并且無(wú)毒，因而在食品、醫(yī)藥和化妝品工業(yè)中廣泛用作吸濕劑、抗凍劑、潤(rùn)滑劑和溶劑。在食品工業(yè)中，丙二醇和脂肪酸反應(yīng)生成丙二醇脂肪酸酯，主要用作食品乳化劑；丙二醇是調(diào)味品和色素的優(yōu)良溶劑。丙二醇在醫(yī)藥工業(yè)中常用作制造各類軟膏、油膏的溶劑、軟化劑和賦形劑等，由于丙二醇與各類香料具有較好互溶性，因而也用作化妝品的溶劑和軟化劑等等。丙二醇還用作煙草增濕劑、防霉劑，食品加工設(shè)備潤(rùn)滑油和食品標(biāo)記油墨的溶劑。丙二醇的水溶液是有效的抗凍
