The re&ultant sohition was suited at 0 3C for 30 minutes. The reaction was then quenched wish saturated NIi+Cl and diluted with ether. The organic layer was separated and washed successively with H;Q and brine, then dried over anliydroas Na^SO4, filtered, and concentrated in vacuo to afford the crude product (7.2 g) which was directly used for the next reaction without purification.
