Steps:

4.1.23. Imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine-3-carboxylic acid (30)

Compound 29 (86 mg, 0.45 mmol) and LiOHH2O (57 mg,1.35 mmol) were dissolved in a 1 mL solution of THF/MeOH/H2O(4:1:1) and stirred at RT for 1 h. The reaction mixture wasconcentrated on a rotary evaporator, acidified with con. HCl toadjust pH 1e2, and filtered. The residue was washed with coldwater and lyophilized to obtain the corresponding acid. The acidwas used in the next step without further purification.
