Dissolve 140 g of the reduction product in 500 ml of methanol, add 14 g of 10% palladium carbon, pressurize with hydrogen gas to 50-60 atmospheres, heat to 100 degrees and react until the reaction is over, cool, filter out the palladium carbon, and concentrate the remainder to remove the methanol. After rectification, 78 grams of (S,S)-2,8-diazabicyclo[4,3,0]nonane (compound shown in formula VI) was obtained, with a yield of 95.5% and a chiral purity of 99.5%.
