Steps:
Preparation of 3-(2-(dimethylamino)ethoxy)benzaldehyde(S17)
General procedure: 3-Hydroxybenzaldehyde (1 g, 8.2mmol, 1.0 equiv), N,N-Dimethylethanolamine (1.5 equiv), triphenylphosphine (1.5equiv) and DIAD(1.5 equiv) were added to anhydrous THF (30 mL). The solution was stirred at rtovernight. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residuewas purified by flash chromatography (SiO2, DCM: MeOH = 20:1) to give compound S17(brown oil, 744 mg, 47%).
