General procedure: Amine (1 eq) was added dropwise to cyanuric chloride (1.2 eq) in acetone at 0°C. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 h then poured into water and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over sodium sulfate and concentrated. The crude product was purified by silica gel chromatography (eluent: hexane-ethyl acetate) and then recrystallized.
