7 Racemization of (R)-2-amino-5-diethylaminopentane
Weigh 36g (0.23mol) of R-hydroxychloroquine side chain (chemical name: (R)-2-amino-5-diethylaminopentane), dissolve it in 250mL of toluene, add 1.8g of Raleigh nickel, Under normal pressure and hydrogen atmosphere, the reaction was stirred at 70°C for 12 hours. When the optical rotation of the reaction supernatant was measured to be zero or close to zero, the reaction supernatant was cooled, allowed to stand, and filtered with suction. The filtrate was concentrated to dryness to obtain a colorless oily liquid 35.2 G, it is (±)-2-amino-5-diethylaminopentane, the yield is 97.2%.
