To a solution of 0.25 M di-pyridyl-thiocarbonate in DMF (stored on molecular sieves 3A) (1.05 eq) was added 0.1 M amine (free base) 0.1 M in DMF (1eq). The reaction mixture was heated at 55 °C for 1.5 h.
