EXAMPLE 2 17β-N-(2-carboxy-2-propyl)carbamoyl-4-aza-5α-androst1-ene-3-one To a solution of 53 mg of chromium trioxide in 1.2 ml of glacialacetic acid was added 85 mg of the product of Example 1. The resulting solution was heated at 35° C. for 12 hours and then cooled to room temperature. Water (30 ml) was added and the separated product was extracted with chloroform. The chloroform solution was washed with water and dried before concentration to the residue. Crystallization from ethyl acetate gives 40 mg of the product.
