This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 55.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 90-110 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
LRRC4（富含亮氨酸重復(fù)序列/LRR的糖蛋白4）、LRRC4B和LRRC4C是誘導(dǎo)興奮性突觸形成的LRR蛋白家族的突觸后粘附分子。LRRC4也被稱為腦腫瘤相關(guān)蛋白BAG、Netrin-G2配體（NGL-2）、鼻咽癌相關(guān)基因14蛋白（G14），其含有1個Ig樣（免疫球蛋白樣）結(jié)構(gòu)域和9個LRR（富含亮氨酸）重復(fù)序列、1個LRRCT結(jié)構(gòu)域、1個LRONT結(jié)構(gòu)域。LRRC4/NGL-2在腦中特異性表達。LRRC4/NGL-2通過募集突觸前和突觸后蛋白來調(diào)節(jié)興奮性突觸的形成。LRRC4/NGL-2組織樹突的膜/通路特異性分化。LRRC4/NGL-2在聽覺突觸反應(yīng)中起著重要作用，并參與了膠質(zhì)瘤的抑制。
