This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 53.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 60-65 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

狂犬病病毒（RABV），學(xué)名狂犬病lyssavirus，是一種致命的嗜神經(jīng)病毒，可導(dǎo)致人類和動(dòng)物狂犬病。狂犬病病毒的宿主范圍極廣，最常通過動(dòng)物唾液傳播。在疾病進(jìn)展之前不進(jìn)行干預(yù)，狂犬病是所有傳染病中病死率最高的。RABV包含一個(gè)單鏈負(fù)義RNA基因組，編碼五種結(jié)構(gòu)蛋白：核蛋白（N）、磷蛋白（P）、基質(zhì)蛋白（M）、糖蛋白（G）和RNA依賴性RNA聚合酶（L）。在這些病毒蛋白中，RABV糖蛋白（RABV-G）是介導(dǎo)病毒進(jìn)入的關(guān)鍵參與者，也是中和抗體的主要靶標(biāo)，因此是疫苗和藥物設(shè)計(jì)的關(guān)鍵因素。
