CD59，也稱為膜攻擊復(fù)合物抑制因子（MACIF）、保護(hù)蛋白、1F5抗原、HRF-20和MIRL。CD59已被鑒定為一種糖基磷脂酰肌醇錨定的膜蛋白，作為膜攻擊復(fù)合物質(zhì)形成的抑制劑，調(diào)節(jié)補(bǔ)體激活。補(bǔ)體膜攻擊復(fù)合物（MAC）作用的強(qiáng)效抑制劑。通過與組裝MAC的C8和/或C9互補(bǔ)物結(jié)合起作用，從而防止完全形成滲透壓孔所需的C9多拷貝的摻入。這種抑制劑似乎具有物種特異性。參與與蛋白酪氨酸激酶復(fù)合的T細(xì)胞活化的信號(hào)轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)。
