TIP-39 is a neuropeptide that is an agonist peptide of the parathyroid hormone 2 receptor (PTH2R) and contains 39 amino acids in its sequence. TIP-39 is highly conserved among different species. TIP-39 in different species can activate adenylate cyclase and increase intracellular calcium level through parathyroid hormone 2 receptor (PTH2R).
