MPEG12-Mal Usage And Synthesis

Description	m-PEG12-Mal is a PEG linker containing a maleimide group. The maleimide group will react with a thiol group to form a covalent bond, enabling the connection of biomolecule with a thiol. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
Uses	Mal-PEG-OH (MW 5000) can be used as a macroinitiator to obtain amphiphilic diblock copolymers by ring-opening polymerization of LA. Nanoparticles prepared using amphiphilic block copolymers can form active drug delivery systems. Nanoparticles encapsulate Triptolide (HY-32735), which can avoid the disadvantage of Triptolide’s poor water solubility and reduce its toxicity.
