| MPEG12-Mal Usage And Synthesis |
Description | m-PEG12-Mal is a PEG linker containing a maleimide group. The maleimide group will react with a thiol group to form a covalent bond, enabling the connection of biomolecule with a thiol. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. | Uses | Mal-PEG-OH (MW 5000) can be used as a macroinitiator to obtain amphiphilic diblock copolymers by ring-opening polymerization of LA. Nanoparticles prepared using amphiphilic block copolymers can form active drug delivery systems. Nanoparticles encapsulate Triptolide (HY-32735), which can avoid the disadvantage of Triptolide’s poor water solubility and reduce its toxicity. | reaction suitability | reagent type: chemical modification reagent reagent type: cross-linking reagent reactivity: sulfhydryl reactive reagent type: linker reactivity: thiol reactive | References | [1] Chen XY, et al.
