Uses
Des(dihydroxypropyl)-7,8-dihydrobiopterin is a related compound of 7,8-Dihydro-L-biopterin and can be used in substrate specificity studies of guanine deaminase in comparison with dihydropterin deaminase from Drosophila melanogaster. It is also useful in the study of pterin compounds of human cerebrospinal fluid in autism.
