Hazard Information | Back Directory | [Uses]
2-Chloro-5-hydroxybenzaldehyde is used as a reagent in the synthesis of p38 inhibitors which are used for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is also used in the preparation of halogenated analogs of L-meta-tyrosine which is a biodegradable herbicide. 2-Chloro-5-hydroxybenzaldehyde may also be used as a starting material in the synthesis of chlorinated phenylephrine. |
